WATCH: McAuliffe suggests 2018 election in Georgia was unfairly taken from Stacey Abrams

Moments ago, Virginia Governor candidate Glenn Youngkin tweeted:

This morning, Terry McAuliffe claimed the 2018 election in Georgia was stolen from Stacey Abrams.

“They took the votes away,” he said, one day after saying this kind of talk is “running down our democracy.”

“She would be the governor of Georgia today had the governor of Georgia not disenfranchised 1.4 million Georgia voters before the election,” McAuliffe said as he introduced Abrams. “That’s what happened to Stacey Abrams. They took the votes away.”

Abrams said last week “I come from a state where I was not entitled to become the governor, but as an American citizen and a citizen of Georgia, I’m going to fight for every person who has the right to vote to be able to cast that vote.”

McAuliffe nodded along.
