Appearing on CNN, Utah Senator Mitt Romney said “The preponderance of a legal opinion is that an impeachment trial after a president has left office is constitutional. I believe that’s the case. It’s pretty clear that the effort is constitutional.”
He also said his impeachment vote will be “based upon the facts and the evidence as is presented.”
Romney then says he believes “that what is being alleged and what we saw, which is incitement to insurrection, is an impeachable offense. If not? what is?”
