Biden Sr. Adviser Symone Sanders is claiming Vice President Did NOT Call the Iowa Man “Fat” and instead said “Look, fact.”
To be clear: Any assertion VP Biden said a word about the gentleman’s appearance is making this something it is not. In the latter part of the exchange, the VP began to say “Look, facts” then said “here’s the deal.” If you’ve been to a Biden event, you’ve heard this before.

However, not everyone is buying it. Multiple outlets reported that Biden called the man fat based on the audio clearly sounding like the word “fat.”
If Biden meant to say “facts” he still mangled the word and it sounds like “fat.”
Many on Twitter are also accusing the Biden campaign of lying.

That seems like a reaaaal stretch based on the video. It's at the 1:55 mark above

WATCH: Full exchange b/t voter & @JoeBiden over Ukraine connections & Biden's age. Biden physically challenges the man because he is not "sedentary." It also sounds like Biden said the word "fat" but campaign disputes as the word "fact." pic.twitter.com/ut1Gdbxt5e

I'm no English major, but Biden clearly said "Fat". You can clearly hear that. If it were "Fact", you'd hear a C. If he were just cutting himself off, you wouldn't hear the T in "Fat". https://t.co/KmNFBHhrFb

He literally said “Look, fat” – I’ve listened to the clip 20+ times.
