A retired three-star general has been suspended from a $92-an-hour consulting contract consulting with the Army after posting a tweet mocking Jill Biden.
Jill Biden wrote June 24th:
For nearly 50 years, women have had the right to make our own decisions about our bodies.
Today, that right was stolen from us.
And while we may be devastated by this injustice, we will not be silent. We will not sit back as the progress we have already won slips away.
Volesky replied to Jill”Glad to see you finally know what a woman is.”.
According to the NY Post Volesky earned a silver star for valor while serving in Iraq. He retired in 2020.
