Actress Jameela Jamil, known for her co-starring role in “The Good Place” is leaving Twitter due to Elon Musk’s takeover.

Jamil tweeted “Ah he got twitter. I would like this to be my what lies here as my last tweet. Just really *any* excuse to show pics of Barold. I fear this free speech bid is going to help this hell platform reach its final form of totally lawless hate, bigotry, and misogyny. Best of luck. ❤️”

Actress Jameela Jamil sparked social media controversy in the past with a series of provocative tweets about abortion.

On Dec 2nd, 2019 she tweeted:

“To the people trolling me and @GloriaSteinem because we said there is no democracy without a woman’s right to choose…I SAID WHAT I F**KING SAID and you’re clueless if you think I’m going to take it back. My life *is* more important to me than an unborn fetus’ one. Suck on that.”

Jamil followed up a few days later with another provocative tweet, this time referencing how she has received thousands of messages telling her she made a mistake having an abortion 7 years ago.

Receiving THOUSANDS of messages about how I made a mistake having an abortion 7 years ago and how I must be a miserable person… I am in fact a happy, thriving multi millionaire, madly in love, with free time, good sleep and a wonderful career and life. But thanks for checking
