Acosta suggests he’ll treat Biden differently than Trump in new interview

In a new interview with “The Atlantic,” Jim Acosta, who has famously had explosive contentious exchanges with President Trump suggests he doesn’t expect to be treating Biden the same way.

Acosta told the Atlantic “I don’t think the press should be trying to whip up the Biden presidency and turn it into must-see TV in a contrived way.”

Acosta said he say Trump’s characterization of the media as “the enemy of the people” constituted a “nonstop national emergency,” and one that required a defiant response.

“If being at the White House is not an experience that might merit hazard pay,” he said, “then perhaps it is going to be approached differently.”

Meanwhile CNN fact checker Daniel Dale also expects thing to change in the Biden administration.

“It will not be a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week job to fact-check Biden,” he told The Atlantic.
