Wisconsin House speaker Robin Vos signs subpoenas in state’s 2020 election audits

Wisconsin Assembly Speaker, Robin Vos, said Friday he has signed off on the first subpoenas in an audit of the state’s 2020 election results.

Vos said he has issued 8 subpoenas to Wisconsin Election Commission and County Clerks in Madison, Green Bay, Racine, and Kenosha for information surrounding the grant money received from Center for Tech and Civic Life.

“Ensuring the 2020 election was conducted fairly and legally is critically important to maintaining faith in our election system,” Vos said. “Justice Gableman is dedicated to finding the truth and has determined subpoenas are necessary to move forward in his investigation. Assembly Republicans will continue to work with Justice Gableman to ensure confidence is fully restored in our elections.”
