Willie Brown Suggests Kamala Harris should say no to vice presidency and seek role of AG

In a new Op-Ed, former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown suggests Kamala Harris “politely decline” if offered the VP role by Joe Biden.

Brown, instead believes Harris should be going for the job of Attorney General in the Biden administration.

Willie Brown has admitted “dating” Kamala Harris despite being married at the time.

“I’ve been peppered with calls from the national media about my ‘relationship’ with Kamala Harris, most of which I have not returned,” Brown wrote in January of 2019. “Yes, we dated.”

Brown also openly he admitted he may have helped Harris’ career, writing “Yes, I may have influenced her career by appointing her to two state commissions when I was Assembly speaker.”

Brown’s reason for advising Harris to take the job of Attorney General is he argues “the attorney general has legitimate power. From atop the Justice Department, the boss can make a real mark on everything from police reform to racial justice to prosecuting corporate misdeeds.”

Brown views the Vice Presidential role as less important and says “Basically, no one takes the vice president seriously after election day. Just ask Mike Pence.”
