Widow of Retired Police Captain Killed During St. Louis Looting to Speak at RNC

Ann Dorn, the widow of retired police captain, David Dorn, who was shot during the looting in St. Louis after responding to a pawnshop alarm, will be a speaker at the RNC this coming week on Thursday.

A day after her husband was brutally murdered, Ann Dorn spoke at a press conference.

“His life was senselessly taken from me, from us, by an opportunist who had no regards for human life or the law.” She said

“This didn’t have to happen, but it must have been God’s plan for David.” Ann Dorn continued, while surrounded by family.

“We need to come together as a community and do better. We need to teach our young people that life is very precious” she added.

The RNC kicks off Monday and will feature speakers and events in various cities.
