U.S. Olympian Caeleb Dressel teared up on the gold medal stand after winning his first Gold Medal while the national anthem played.
Dressel, only 24 years old, also set a world record.
“I don’t know if it’s set in yet,” Dressel said. “Right now, I’m just kinda …. It’s a really tough year. It’s really hard. So to have the results here … It really came together so I’m happy.”
Tears of joy. Tears of an Olympian.
