On Sunday, President Trump took the unprecedented steps of becoming the first sitting US President to set foot in North Korea, meeting with North Korean Chairman Kim Jong-un at the border with South Korea.
“I was proud to step over the line,” Trump later told Kim, “It is a great day for the world.”
The move comes as Trump continues to make headway in negotiations with North Korea, surpassing his predecessors in successfully courting the Hermit Kingdom in hopes of denuclearization and peace.

Trump discussed the meeting later, noting that Kim said he “would be so honored” to have the US President step into the country, adding, “It’s a big thing.”

Conservatives took to social media to praise Trump for his continued peace efforts.
It’s disgusting how some liberals continue to bash trump after this historic moment. This is part of negotiating peace. If you fail to see that, you don’t deserve to comment about politics.
