President Trump and First Lady Melania visited Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, in an unannounced visit coming just ahead of Memorial Day.
This year, the president’s schedule has him in Japan during the holiday, prompting the unscheduled stop.
During their visit, President Trump and the First Lady shared a somber moment as they laid flowers down on graves of fallen soldiers.
