President Trump has signed an order that could effectively ban the TikTok app in 45 days.
The Trump administration argues that data collected by the app could fall into the hands of the Chinese government.
In a statement TikTok said “We are shocked by the recent executive order, which was issued without any due process. For nearly a year, we have sought to engage with the U.S. government in good faith to provide a constructive solution to the concerns that have been expressed.”
