WATCH: “They won’t be able to do much about this” McConnell relishes expected Barrett confirmation

On the Senate floor Sunday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell appeared to relish the moment before Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation.

“By tomorrow night, we’ll have a new member of the United States supreme court.” Mitch McConnell told Senate Republicans after they voted to limit debate and advance the nomination of Judge Barrett.

“A lot of what we’ve done over the last four years will be undone sooner or later by the next election,” McConnell continued.

“They won’t be able to do much about this for a long time to come,” he added.
