Appearing on “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo” Senator Ted Cruz spoke out on the Republican plan to challenge the electoral college.
Reacting to critics of the plan, Cruz said “I think everyone needs to calm down.”
He continued “I think we need to tone down the rhetoric. This is already a volatile situation. It’s like a tinderbox and throwing lit matches into it.”
Cruz then blasted exaggerated “angry language” from Democrats in response to his statement, suggesting Democrats were “urging that I should be arrested and tried for sedition and treason.”
