On Thursday, rock legend Gene Simmons, frontman of KISS, made a surprise visit to the Pentagon and the White House, where he thanked US troops in a touching ceremony.
While details remain scarce, the rocker passionately thanked soldiers while fighting back tears as he told the story of his mother, a Holocaust survivor, and her experiences in a Nazi concentration camp.

Simmons was later seen entering the White House following his Pentagon visit.
The Israeli-born KISS frontman and bassist has previously praised President Trump for his decision to relocate the US embassy in Israel, and has speculated that he will win re-election in 2020, despite outrage coming from Democrat opponents.
