WATCH: Rangers and Islanders all STAND for the National Anthem

Both the NY Rangers and NY Islanders chose to stand for the national anthem, with not a single player taking a knee.

Eric Trump tweeted a video and wrote “Thank you NHL #Standing”

Per Breitbart, ahead of the game, Islanders captain Anders Lee noted that the two teams conferred on what they should do for the national anthem.

“I’m sure we’ll be in touch with the Rangers and try to figure something out here, probably something similar,” Lee said on a Zoom call on Tuesday. “I think it’s awesome to see. It’s a great reason to come together as rivals and teams and show really the true importance of coming together and standing up for justice and what is right.”

As their social justice statement, the teams decided to intermix on the ice during the anthem instead of standing in lines as opposing teams.

This comes after nearly every NBA player has chosen to kneel during the national anthem since the restart with the exception of Jonathan Isaacs of the Orlando Magic.

The @LAClippers and @Lakers kneel in solidarity as the Compton Kidz Club performs the National Anthem.

Magic’s Jonathan Isaac chooses to remain standing as the rest of the Magic and Nets players and coaches take a knee and lock arms during the national anthem.
