Appearing on “This Week” with George Stephanopolos, Rahm Emanuel reacted to the Nevada win of Bernie Sanders with the provocative claim that “Putin and Trump are picking their opponent” adding “this is not who we want on the ticket to lead it.”
Emanual also argued that Sanders can be stopped but only if moderates coalesce around one candidate.
But I would say this, the moderates need to coalesce around one person.
If you have a divided field, we’ve seen this play out in the Republican primary in 2016, if there is not kind of a singular mano to mano, then he’s gonna get the delegate primary.
