Protesters are taking place in Rochester, NY in reaction to a grand jury choosing to not indict police officers involved in Daniel Prude’s death.
Per Newsweek “Prude, a 41-year-old Black man, was suffering from a mental health crisis when Rochester police officers placed a spit hood over his head and pressed his face into the pavement in March last year. He died a week later.”
Videos of the event are being shared on social media.
