WATCH: Pollster who correctly predicted Trump’s 2016 victory defends his methodology on CNN

Appearing on CNN, Trafalgar Group’s Chief Pollster Robert Cahaly, who correctly predicted Trump’s 2016 victory appeared on the network to defends his methodology against critics.

Cahaly remained defiant against sketpics and questioning by CNN’s Smerconish and defended his methodology that unlike other pollsters, has Trump leading in several key states including Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Cahaly believes in the “shy Trump voter effect” and explains how his methodology attempts to offset the potential “social desirability” skewing via anonymity.

Earlier this month, Cahaly told Fox News host Sean Hannity he predicts Trump will be reelected.
