WATCH: Pentagon says they won’t allow the Gay Pride flag to be flown at military bases

Friday, the Pentagon confirmed they will maintain their existing policy that bars “unofficial flags” from being flown at U.S. military bases.

No exception will be made for the rainbow “Gay Pride” flag.

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said the decision does not “in any way reflect on the respect and admiration we feel for all our LGBTQ+ personnel in and out of uniform.”
