WATCH: Pence tells sailors “serving you as your vice president” has “been the greatest honor of my life”

Saturday, Vice President Pence appeared at the Naval Air Station Lemoore in California’s Central Valley.

“Allow me to thank you for the privilege of serving as your Vice President,” Pence said as he concluded his speech.

Pence urged the Biden administration to continue Trump’s policies on China, saying “I urge the incoming administration to stay the course, do what we’ve done: stand up to Chinese aggression and trade abuses.”

Pence also touted the Trump admin’s war record.

“I’m proud to say, with just a few days left in this administration, this this is the first administration in decades not to get America into a new war,” he said.

After his speech, Pence spent additional time mingling with sailors on the tarmac. He wore a fighter jacket they had gifted him.
