Monday, former President Obama announced a collaboration video with rocker Bruce Springsteen.
Obama tweeted “Last year, I sat down with my good friend Bruce @Springsteenfor a long and meaningful conversation that touched on so much of what we’re all dealing with these days.”
“I’m excited to share it with you over the next few weeks,” he added. According to reports, they will discuss a wide range of topics including marriage, fatherhood and race in this country.
Obama says in the podcast “He’s a white guy from a small town in Jersey. I’m a Black guy of mixed race born in Hawaii with a childhood that took me around the world. He’s a rock ‘n’ roll icon. I’m a lawyer and politician, not as cool.”
He continues by saying “I like to remind Bruce every chance I get, he’s more than a decade older than me. Although, he looks damn good.”
