Moments ago, First Lady Melania Trump received a rousing ovation at the House at the State of the Union address.
Melania was seen seated next to special guest Rush Limbaugh, a conservative icon who has recently announced he has late stage lung cancer.
Per FoxNews, in less than 24 hours, Trump is all but certain to be overwhelmingly acquitted by the Senate after a lengthy impeachment trial. But on the whole, his speech largely focused on his administration’s successes, resembling more of a greatest-hits collection than a victory lap.
“The state of our union is stronger than ever before,’ Trump declared to applause, as most Democrats — including those who have recently sought to have the president removed from office — remained seated, stone-faced and apparently dejected.
