HBO’s political comedian and talkshow host Bill Maher called out Anti-Trump “Russian collusion” conspiracy theorist Adam Schiff over his inability to admit defeat and for “stalking Trump,” during a recent interview.
The Daily Beast reported that Schiff said, “Russians were engaged in a systemic effort to interfere in our election; that the Trump campaign welcomed it, embraced it, built it into their plan, made full use of it, lied about it, covered it up, and then obstructed the investigation into it; and, if we had any doubt before about this president’s fitness for office, there is no doubt remaining: he is unfit for the presidency.”
Maher then pushed back. “But this was our big gun. Now it just looks like you’re stalking him,” he said. “I think in the eyes of the people who don’t follow it that closely, which is most of the country, here’s the thing about Bob Mueller: he’s the last thing in America that left and right agreed on. Left and right basically agreed, this is a guy of honor, this is an honest guy, an honest broker, whatever he says goes…The fact that he was like umm…If you couldn’t impeach before, how are you going to impeach after? Or should you?”

Maher may be onto something, since a CNN flash poll right after the Mueller report came out shows that the majority of Americans are ready to move on.
British journalist Piers Morgan urged Dems to give up the impeachment dream. Washington Examiner reported that Morgan’s message for congressional Democrats is: Forget impeaching President Trump and focus on finding a candidate who can beat him in 2020.
“There’s never been a successful impeachment in America. There’s not going to be a successful impeachment against Donald Trump,” Morgan said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “Why would you push for it as you come into an election year?”
After the Justice Department released a redacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report last week, Democrats and media pundits have been poring over the details, highlighting instances of potential misconduct by Trump, and using those examples as fodder for discussion of potential impeachment proceedings.
Last month, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said impeachment just wasn’t “worth it.”
