Senator Lindsey Graham is suggesting Jacob Blake, who was shot multiple times, should have yielded to cops when he was asked to.
The cops involved in his shooting have been put on leave while an investigation is taking place.
Graham said during a press conference “I don’t know what happened there. Let’s find out. It’s dangerous being a cop.”
He added “I don’t know why the gentleman didn’t yield when he was asked to yield. I don’t know what the facts are.”
Graham is facing a tough November election against a well funded opponent in Democrat Jamie Harrison.
Harrison wrote on Twitter “Walking away from the police is not punishable by death.”
