During the “March for Life” actor and pro-life activist Kirk Cameron gave a rousing speech.
“I’m from warm and sunny California,” Cameron said. “But, it’s also the land of loose nuts and bolts. I’d much rather be here in Washington, DC with you for the March for Life. There’s no other place I’d rather be.”
Cameron went on to explain that it was important that after this march, it was important to continue our marching orders for God, who is our “commander-in-chief” in the heavenly places. “His executive orders trump all executive orders,” Cameron said, before quoting Micah 6:8.
Cameron later told “Fox & Friends Weekend” co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy “I think that we’re at a tipping point. “I think that the tide is turning, science is making it more and more difficult for us to pretend like it’s not a baby in the womb. We know that it is.”
“Even in Hollywood, there are more and more people who are embracing the idea that life is a gift from God….If you talk to the people who are here, some people don’t understand why we come and why we’re marching, but we understand as the family of faith, that our hope is ultimately not in who governs us, it’s not in the laws that we make as a nation. Our hope is in the power of God working in the hearts of people, and there are thousands and thousands of us here today, we want to make a difference, we want to champion life,” he added.
