On Wednesday, White House adviser Kellyanne Conway slammed former FBI Director James Comey in response to his recent disparaging comments regarding President Trump.
Conway called Comey a “liar” and a “leaker,” noting, “It sounds like there’s panic in the world of Jim Comey.”
“Who cares what he thinks?” asked Conway. “We said ‘no collusion’ for two years, and they couldn’t take us at our word.”
Replying to Comey’s recent assertion that his FBI team contained “good people,” Conway said “I really resent him saying ‘good people,'” pointing out, “We already know that Andy McCabe, his number two, lied.”
“We already know that Jim Comey is a liar and leaker,” said Conway, who went on to mention Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, who she said “were making fun of Trump voters.”
Conway continued on to explain that “Jim Comey is known as a grandstander and a showboat – it very much bothered the president to have somebody like that as the head of the FBI.”
