Monday morning, Joy Behar of “The View” defended Maxine Waters after a firestorm of controversy she caused from her comments to Minnesota protesters.
Waters told protesters “we’ve got to stay on the street and we’ve got to get more active, we’ve got to get more confrontational. We’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.”
Behar defended Waters, saying “I don’t think Maxine meant anything by that other than to say you have to stick with it. you know, you have to be there.”
“But Democrats have to be twice as smart and twice as thoughtful as Republicans because Republicans will say whatever they want and they get away with it,” Behar claimed.
