Rep. Ilhan Omar sat down for an interview, to discuss accusations that she is anti-Semitic.
Three months ago, The Daily Beast reported that freshman Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) came under fire on Twitter on Sunday for tweeting what many saw as an anti-Semitic remark in response to scrutiny over her stance on Israel.
Omar retweeted a post describing how she and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) were facing punishment from House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) for criticizing Israel. “It’s all about the Benjamins, baby,” Omar wrote in response. When Omar went on to suggest the nonprofit American-Israel Public Affairs Committee could be paying politicians to take pro-Israel positions, the American Jewish Committee demanded an apology and called her remarks “stunningly anti-Semitic.”
Omar is no stranger to controversy. Besides her antisemitic tropes, she was also lambasted for claiming Senator Lindsey Graham was somehow “compromised,” when she tweeted out, “they got to him,” after he showed support for President Trump’s border wall. The controversial congresswoman was thoroughly embarrassed over her irresponsible tweet during an interview on CNN.

Now, Omar is facing more scandal, as she is seen “laughing” when asked if she regrets antisemitic remarks, during interview with KARE 11’s Jana Shortal.
