WATCH: Ice Cube says he turned down Kamala’s request to be part of a group Zoom call with her

Appearing on the program “Cocktail with Queens” hip hop legend Ice Cube explained why he turned down a request from Biden running mate Kamala Harris to be part of a group Zoom call with other entertainers.

Ice Cube thought the nature of the group call with other entertainers would mean it “wasn’t going to be productive.”

He told host Claudia Jordan “I want to get things done. I don’t want to just spin my wheels, talk to people who can’t really make it happen.”

Ice Cube further explained “we had spent a lot of people’s time putting the Contract With Black America together and I just thought that getting on a Zoom call with 12 other entertainers all shooting what they believe needs to be done, to me wasn’t going to be productive.”

He also said “Trump campaign made some adjustments to their plan after talking to us about the CWBA” referring to the “Contract with Black America.”
