WATCH: Grassley asks Garland if he’s committed to supporting Durham’s probe, Garland accused of not committing

Monday, Senator Grassley of Iowa asked AG nominee Garland if he was committed to supporting Durham’s probe of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

Garland responded “Sitting here today I have no reason to think that that was not the correct decision’ to keep Durham’s probe in place.”

Asked if this meant Durham would not be removed, Garland did not commit, instead saying “I really have not had an opportunity to talk with him.”

He added “I don’t have any reason from what I know now … to make any determination on that ground. ‘But I don’t have any reason to think that he should not remain in place.”

Donald Trump Jr. reacted to the exchange by tweeting:

Where is the media outrage?

I’ve been told there is to be outrage when politicians don’t let the special counsel do their work… not that anyone’s expecting anything out of Durham anyway, but still.
