Moments ago, Senator Lindsey Graham defended the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett for SCOTUS.
Graham said “This is an election year…Justice Ginsburg, when asked about this several years ago, said that a president serves for four years, not three.”
“There’s nothing unconstitutional about this process…the Senate is doing its duty constitutionally,” he added.

In his introduction, Graham, the Republican chairman of the Senate judiciary committee asked members of the panel to keep the hearings “respectful” and “challenging.”
He added “Remember, the world is watching.”
