WATCH: Gov. Cuomo Refers to COVID-19 as a “European Virus”

NY Governor Cuomo caused a stir by referring to the COVID-19 virus as a “European Virus.”

“If you had said, when we started this, ‘Yes, we had more cases than anyone else.” Cuomo added “Yes, we had this European virus attack us and nobody expected it. But we’re not only going to change our trajectory. We’re going to change the trajectory more dramatically than any place else in the nation. People would have said it was impossible, but we did it. But we have to stay smart.”
