During a recent appearance on ABC’s “The View,” Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw discussed US immigration policy, President Trump, and the alarming rise of anti-Semitism.
“Every country has the right to own its own sovereignty,” Crenshaw said regarding the growing crisis at the US-Mexico border. “Every country has the right to manage who comes in and out of those borders.
Crenshaw added, “it feels as though the United States does not have that right,” noting, “we have no effective control over our border right now,” while pointing out that “Mexican drug cartels have complete operational control of our southern border.
Despite pushback from “The View” co-hosts, Crenshaw explained that current policy is “actually incentivizing child trafficking,” noting that “No matter what, they’re taking advantage of the asylum process.”
