Thousands are protesting in Cuba and the government has shut down the internet in areas where protests are taking place.

Per AP “Following major street protests, Cuban authorities have blocked social media sites in an apparent effort to stop the flow of information. Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and Telegram were blocked, an international monitor said.”

Frances Robles of the NY Times wrote “I have been covering Cuba since the 1994 rafter crisis. I have never ever seen anything like the protests today.”

Charlie Kirk tweeted:

Cubans are marching in the streets of Havana to protest what happens when communists like AOC “fight for” their constituents
