WATCH: Cruz says Republican PA election case “raises very serious issues”

Appearing with Sean Hannity, Texas Senator Ted Cruz explained why he offered to argue the Pennsylvania case of Rep. Mike Kelly and Sean Parnell if it reached the Supreme Court.

The case alleges that a 2019 state law allowing no-excuse mail-in voting is unconstitutional. Kelly and Parnell argue that if the court agrees, most of the commonwealth’s mail-in votes in this past presidential election should be thrown out.

Cruz said “It raises pure issues of law, and I believe the Supreme Court should choose to take the case.”

He added “I think they should hear the appeal.”
