WATCH: Booker asks Barrett, who has 2 adopted black children if she condemns white supremacy

Earlier today, Senator Cory Booker asked Judge Amy Coney Barrett, who has 2 adopted black children, if she condemns white supremacy.

After Barrett says “yes” Booker says “Thank you. I’m glad to see that you said that. I wish our president would say that so resolutely and unequivocally as well”

Tuesday, Barrett was asked by Democrat Senator Dick Durbin if she has seen the George Floyd video.

In a moving answer, Barrett said “Senator, as you might imagine, given that I have two black children, that was very very personal for my family.”
