Right out of the gates, obviously looking to make an impression, 2020 candidate Michael Bloomberg played the “Putin” Card.
Bloomberg:
Vladimir Putin thinks that Donald Trump should be president of the United States, and that’s why Russia is helping you get elected, so you’ll lose to him.
Ari Fleischer responded on Twitter “Wow. That’s nuts. Bloomberg says Putin is helping Bernie. I just don’t see that working in a D primary. I get Bloomberg wants to come out fighting, but that was a terrible first shot to take.”
