WATCH: BLM Co-founder asked if having “extravagant homes” is a contradiction to being a “trained Marxist”

During a recent interview, BLM co-founder Patrisee Cullors was interviewed by Marc Lamont Hill who confronted her about the firestorm of controversy from her multiple real estate purchases including a $1.4 million dollar home in Topanga.

Lamost said “also a critique, though, from the Left that would say ‘If you are a trained Marxist, if we’re talking about a certain kind of radical politics, that extravagant homes of any sort or multiple properties of any sort is itself contradictory to the ideology that you hold.” He continued “so it’s not about having money per se, or about property per se, but it’s about there being a potential contradiction between your expressed politics and your lived practice.”
