Former VP and 2020 candidate Joe Biden warned a Iowa crowd that it was especially important that his Vice President be qualified to be President since he might die in office, being an “old guy.”
Joe Biden:
I can think of at least 8 women, at least 4 or 5 people of color that I think are totally qualified to be vice president of the United States,
But for me, it has to be demonstrated that whomever I pick, there’s two things: One is being capable of being a president, because I’m an old guy. No, I’m serious.

Biden also floated the idea of a Biden-Obama ticket with former First Lady Michelle Obama as Vice President.

Man: "Would you consider appointing Obama for the Supreme Court?"
Joe Biden: "Yeah, I would, but I don’t think he’d do it. He'd be a great Supreme Court Justice."
