2020 Presidential hopeful Joe Biden pushed some arguably disturbing rhetoric on the campaign trail, by suggesting a “real physical revolution” if he were president and the GOP Senate refused to go along with his agenda.
American Mirror reported that Biden wants to beat a Republican-led Senate into submission, and if that doesn’t work, he today floated the idea of a “real physical revolution” to change the system.
While addressing the Poor People’s Campaign candidate cattle call today, moderator Joy Reid asked Biden how he would get his proposals through a GOP-led Senate.
“You have to go out and beat these folks if they don’t agree with you by making your case,” Biden said.
“And that’s what presidents are supposed to do — persuade the public. Move people as to what’s going on,” he said, before touting his credentials muscling through President Obama’s health care take over and stimulus.
“So you go out and beat them,” he referred to his political opponents.
“You make the case — you make an explicit case,” Biden said.
“If you start off with the notion there’s nothing you can do, well, you might as well all go home then, man,” he said.
“Or let’s start a real physical revolution if you’re talking about it because we have to be able to change what we’re doing within our system,” Biden told Reid before quoting the Preamble to the Constitution.
