Appearing on Yahoo Finance, Biden coronavirus task force advisor Dr. Michael Osterholm floated the idea of a 4-6 week national lockdown.
Osterholm said “We could pay for a package right now to cover all of the wages, lost wages for individual workers, for losses to small companies, to medium-sized companies or city, state, county government.”
“If we did that, then we could lock down for four to six weeks,” he added.

Earlier int he week, Osterholm said during an appearance on CNBC “We have not even come close to the peak and, as such, our hospitals are now being overrun.”
He continued “The next three to four months are going to be, by far, the darkest of the pandemic.”
“I don’t think America quite gets this yet,” Osterhold warned ominously “This is going to get much worse. This is not to scare people out of their wits. This is to scare people into their wits to understand that because we still have control. We can basically limit the contacts we have with people that will dramatically impact our ability of getting this disease.”
