Speaking with Anderson Cooper, 2020 Democrat frontrunner admitted he did not know how much his entire agenda would cost.
Anderson Cooper asked Bernie Sanders how much his “lofty” initiatives would cost.
Among the promises – Medicare for all, free public college, cancelling all school debt, a federal job guarantee and green new deal to rapidly reduce carbon admissions.
Sanders eventually puts the price tag of $30 trillion for medicare for all alone.
When pressed on how much his entire agenda will cost, Bernie admits he does now know but claims he can pay it with a “modest tax on wall street speculation.”
Anderson then replies “But you say you don’t know what the total price is, but you. know how it’s going to be paid for. How do you know how it’s going to be paid for if you don’t know what the price is?”
Bernie replies “Well I can’t rattle off to you ever nickel and every dime.”
