WATCH: Barr Calls Mueller’s Probe “Bogus” in New Explosive Interview!

In an interview which was released on Friday, US Attorney General William Barr discussed the fallout from the recently-released Mueller report and the attacks against him which have resulted from the reports anticlimactic conclusion, calling the probe “bogus.”

“Mueller has spent two and half years, and the fact is there is no evidence of a conspiracy.” said Barr. “So it was bogus – this whole idea that the Trump was in cahoots with the Russians is bogus.”

Barr called the behavior of FBI employees involved in the investigation into then-candidate Trump “very damning” while stressing the importance of “making sure that government power is being conscientiously and properly applied.”

“I think one of the ironies today, is that people are saying that it’s President Trump that’s shredding our institutions,” said Barr, noting, “I really see no evidence of that.”

Barr continued, “The idea of resisting a democratically elected president, and basically throwing everything at him and changing the norms on the grounds that ‘We have to stop this president,’ that is where the shredding of our norms and our institutions is occurring.”
