WATCH: AOC to Guest Star in RuPaul’s “Drag Race Season 12”

As if headlining Bernie’s rallies were not enough, far-left media sensation Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez announced on Twitter she will appear as a judge in RuPaul’s “Drag Race Season 12.”

AOC tweeted about the experience and wrote:

This was absolutely, 100% a peak experience. I am SO excited for the new season. Thank you @RuPaulsDragRace for having me! #YouBettaVote

ABC News reports amid the 2020 election cycle, Sen. Bernie Sanders’ surrogate Freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will be a guest judge on the next season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” the show announced on Thursday.

“Join the RuVulution. I am Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and I pledge allegiance to the drag,” the freshman lawmaker – who represents New York’s 14th district, including Queens and the Bronx — said in the teaser announcing the show’s 12th season.

The drag queens featured on the show aren’t the only one’s facing rivalry in 2020 — as the 30-year-old lawmaker and advocate of the Green New Deal is being challenged for her seat by eight Republicans and four Democrats, including former CNBC anchor Michelle Caruso-Cabrera.

“This was absolutely, 100% a peak experience. I am SO excited for the new season,” AOC tweeted on Thursday. “Thank you RuPaul’s Drag Race for having me! #YouBettaVote.”

Last November, TCO reported AOC and drag queen performer Sasha Velour, winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race”  gushed over each other after the freshman lawmaker attended Velour’s “Smoke and Mirrors” theatre show in Washington D.C.

Per Out, on Monday, Ocasio-Cortez attended the Washington, D.C. performance of Sasha Velour’s theater show Smoke & Mirrors and the two had the chance to meet backstage. They shot a quick video together in which the representative gushed about the show, invoking ARTPOP denier Lady Gaga in her effusive review.

“I thought it was amazing, it was incredible, it was fabulous,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “I’m like that Lady Gaga moment where she’s like, ‘stunning, amazing, impeccable, genius.’” A queen who knows her herstory — we will never unstan!

Velour was similarly shook, calling AOC “the revolutionary of our time.” According to Velour’s tweet, the Smoke & Mirrors audience even gave the representative a standing ovation.

Velour shared a video of the two together, writing:

Tonight THE most honored special guest came to see “Smoke & Mirrors” in Washington D.C. @AOC
The audience gave her a standing ovation too!

Velour added in a follow-up tweet “You are truly an inspiration @AOC. Thank you for all you do to support our queer family. What a brilliant human, I’m still overwhelmed from this meeting!”

AOC wrote back “You were incredible, !”
