Controversial Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was cornered by a gentleman who asked her if Planned Parenthood abortion clinics were like “concentration camps” for fetuses.
The question came after AOC claimed migrant shelters were like “concentration camps,” prompting criticism for the extreme analogy.
The New York Post reported that the US Holocaust Memorial Museum on Monday denounced “efforts to create analogies between the Holocaust and other events” – a reaction to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s equating border facilities for migrants to concentration camps.
The New York freshman Democrat sparked an outcry last week by accusing the Trump administration of housing immigrants in “concentration camps” on the Mexican border.
“The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum unequivocally rejects efforts to create analogies between the Holocaust and other events, whether historical or contemporary,” the museum said in a statement.
AOC tried to clarify her comments, claiming she was not referring to “Nazis.”

Daily Wire reported that surrounded by a slew of reporters, democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was asked if she thought abortion clinics at Planned Parenthood were like concentration camps for unborn babies.
The question was asked in light of the elected Democrat’s remarks likening detention centers on the United States’ Souther border to WWII concentration camps.
“Congresswoman, do you think Planned Parenthood and abortion clinics are like concentration camps for fetuses?” a reporter asked AOC.
“Um, absolutely not, sir,” the 29-year-old told the reporter, apparently adding that the question was “kind of a crazy” thing to suggest.
