Warren Says Postal Service Board Should Fire Postmaster General DeJoy or Resign

Friday, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) called for members of the U.S. Postal Service board to either fire Postmaster General Louis DeJoy or resign.

Warren wrote “The @USPS Board of Governors has a responsibility to serve the public interest. That means delivering the mail on time – not acting as accomplices for the Postmaster General’s partisan sabotage. If the Board won’t fire Louis DeJoy and reverse the damage, they should resign too.”

Warren was replying to a Reuters story that Dejoy “has ‘full support’ of board: source.”

Postmaster DeJoy has been criticized by Democrats including Pelosi and Warren for changes in service they say have delayed mail deliveries and threaten the delivery of ballots.
