Elizabeth Warren stepped in to the firestorm between President Trump and AOC’s squad by demanding Trump respect AOC’s “squad” that consists of her, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and Ayanna Pressley.
Warren made it clear that in a Warren presidency she’d make sure the squad was respected.
Let’s be clear about what this vile comment is: A racist and xenophobic attack on Democratic congresswomen. This *is* their country, regardless of whether or not Trump realizes it. They should be treated with respect. As president, I’ll make sure of it.

BLM’s Shaun King similarly called Trump’s tweet “racist.”
It's now been 12 hours since Trump issued this overtly racist, white supremacist tweet stream.
If you are a conservative and have not called this out in 12 hours, it's clear you condone it and believe it. https://t.co/rh1eyW4Pwm

However, many responded to Warren defending President Trump.
No dummy @realDonaldTrump is stating realistic facts. Stop race baiting. He is much nicer than I would be because they need do be EXHILED. pic.twitter.com/FnyXhlz9IX

Well, maybe you don't pay a lot of attention, but their rhetoric sure makes it seem like they despise the United States.
"Some people did something", indeed.

Here's a synopsis of Trump's tweet:
"If you think you can fix America's problems, go back to your corrupt home country, fix theirs, then return and show us how it is done."
Nothing even REMOTELY xenophobic or racist.
Only a complete racist themselves would see racism in that.— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) July 14, 2019
