Biden DHS head Alejandro Mayorkas acknowledged on ABC’s “This Week” the nation is on pace to have the greatest migrant surge in 20 years.
Mayorkas claimed “we know how to address it. We have a plan. We are executing on our plan.”
Republicans are calling the situation a “crisis” and blame Biden’s lax policies compared to Trump as being the equivalent to a welcome message.
“They have created a humanitarian crisis down here at this border,” Texas Republican Rep. Michael McCaul said. “The reason (migrants) are coming is he says words do matter, and they do. … The messaging is: If you want to come, you can stay.”
